Doraha has finally ended and a lot of you didnt like the ending. I am sorry to shatter expectations, but as I wrote earlier, both Umera and I got a little caught up I think at the end and the last episode was written while shooting was already in progress and so both of us could not give it the time that it deserved. The ending needed one more episode to take shape and a more thorough conclusion. But I take full responsibility. Some of you have liked the ending and to you, i say thank you 
However, i do agree with a lot of points made by all of you regarding the wrap up and will keep them in mind.
Meanwhile, HUM TV has started showing my old TV serial Aur Zindagi Badalti Hai which was shot almost 8 years ago in Spain. This was my first 13 ep serial and I have very nostalgic feelings about it and hopefully have learnt from the mistakes i made in it. The episodes can be seen online on Vidpk.com as well as Youtube for those who don’t get HUM TV.

I really love Doraha but as you said ending was not perfect .. but the whole drama is simply awesome … i dont have words to appreciate this Drama.

I thought the drama was GREAT really after such a long time i think after really long time had a chance to see such a great drama. Sonia Rehman and Hamanyun Saeed and everyone really Badar khalil etc were great! I loved how the drama moved so fast and it was a good pace. And I wouldnt like to call it a “saas-bahu” drama like H.Saeed was saying on Nadia Khan show - i think it was a story of a couple’s life and we see things like this happening. I really felt it was the guys’ mistake to begin with not the saas-bahu like he let it happen - anyways thats my thinking.
The only scene where i thought the acting kind of wavered was the scene in the last episode where Hamanyun Saeed confronts Sonia at the friends house- like I just felt that was such an intense scene but H.Saeed (sorry) for some reason really didnt look in it and Sonia was still better but that was a little like they WERE acting …. but great job there sister! many congratulations on directing such a nice serial ‘DORAHA’ for us…. i would say the combination of Mehreen +Umera Ahmed is the exceptional….
if i’m not mistaken the writer of’Aur Zindagi Badalti Hai’ is the same Sonia Rehman who acted in Doraha as well, isn’t it?
Is Pehchan serial available in DVD in Karachi?

Big Fan of your work, was wondering if you know where I can find the Flamenco Classical Fusion music played at the end of the drama when the credits roll, I think I recognize the Spanish singer to be Camaron de la Isla but not sure, any help would be appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work

I remember Aur Zindagi.. very fondly because it was after a long time the scenery was not the focus of the play but the characters were. At that time the Dubai trend had just started and every other director was going to Dubai for shooting and the stories were becoming non-existant. It was refreshing to see a drama shot in Spain where the locales did not take over the characters. Everything gelled so well

I really liked this drama but i couldn’t find the episodes of it after 10th on you tube and vidpk.com. And the second thing i couldn’t understand the character of this girl Aana. What type of girl she was? Her behaviour ahhh..But overall i really love the sights and the theme.
